40 Players @ Tangle Ridge as Rogers Wins $2250 ; OKC Under Winter Storm Warning

Where can a 52-year old 3.8 handicapper make thousands in a pro golf tournament? That would be on the FairWay Golf Tour, where Mark Rogers fired an even par 72 at Tangle Ridge GC in Grand Prairie, TX to win money in every division he entered and earn almost 10 times his entry fee as he paid a total of $275 (1-Day Net, 1-Day Sr. Net, Nassau and course fees) and took home $2250...not a bad day's work! Mark also took the lead in the Red River Cup Points Race, which pays cash bonuses to the top ten points winners at the end of the year. $5 of every entry fee for 1-day events and $10 of every entry fee for 2-day events goes into this pool. The tour is off to a successful start in 2011 as the field of 40 players exceeded expectations for an event in the middle of January. Come join us in the next 2 weeks or go online and take advantage of the $50 membership special, which goes to $100 February 15th. Players may pay the fee on the website at any time. Members can take advantage of 1 free lesson from tour director and any golf equipment you want at wholesale prices. Just ask me for the contact info and find out pricing on the latest gear and technology to fit your needs. There is currently a Winter Storm Warning in effect for the OKC metro with 6-10 inches of snow and blizzard conditions expected Tuesday. Needless to say, this will jeopardize our event for Saturday at Lincoln West. If the snow is gone and the forecast is above 40, the tourney is on! If there are five players in the field, those five players will receive points valued the same as the top 5 finishers in the 40 player event at Tangle Ridge! 1st 50 2nd 40 3rd 30 4th 20 5th 10...players also receive 5 points for participating and 5 points if they register and pay the deposit or full entry fee online by Thursday at 5pm.
