Aycock Wins Rain-Shortened Major #2 and $4500+ with Net Score of -1.5

For only the third time in its 10-yr existence and the first time in a Major the FairWay Tour was forced by Mother Nature to enact its Rain Policy of recognizing a winner if a minimum half the holes are completed. Paul Aycock took advantage of perfect conditions on Saturday to shoot a net score of 70.5 at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club. But as the saying goes in Oklahoma, If you don't like the weather, hang around a minute...Sunday brought torrential downpours, lightning and winds gusting past 50mph. After 2 rain delays the course became unplayable and Aycock was declared the winner of the rain shortened event. We apologize for the delay in posting the results as the webmaster must create an entry for a 36-Hole rain shortened event. The career money list has been completed and may be viewed on the Tour Stats Page of the website. The tour has paid over $1.8 million to 404 players since 2001! Come join us this weekend for our first W. Texas event to be held at Diamondback Golf Club in Abilene, TX. We hope to see you there.
