The Tribute AND The Old American Host Major #3 this Weekend!! Threet Wins @ OU Golf Course

Don't miss what should be a great weekend of golf June 4-5 as the tour goes to The Colony, TX for Major #3 at 2 different golf courses. Saturday we will play The Tribute and Sunday The Old American, its private sister right across the street. This event will be the best value for your dollar so far this season. Green fee rates at these spectacular golf courses are $125 and $150...you play BOTH for $150. 1st place is already up to $3000 and most likely will be around $5000 come Saturday. Sign up by Tuesday at 5pm for this tourney and get max points, which are double for this event. There is close to $4000 already in the pool to pay top 10 points winners at the end of the year. This is the event to catch up in points as the top 2 in the current standings are unable to play this week. Players may choose to play in 1-Day Net either day if they are unable to play in the Major both days. We will take entries for 1-Day events on space available basis beginning Thursday morning. Congrats to Kacey Threet of Grove, OK, who picked up his 2nd win this year on the FairWay Tour by firing a gross score of 71 Saturday at the Jimmie Austin OU GC. The 2.8 handicap was impressive as he has only been playing golf for three years. Add to that the fact the tee boxes were tipped out to 7,349 and the wind was up at around 25mph. The golf course was the 2nd we have played this year that the tour would call in "tour condition", with the other being Ponce DeLeon in Hot Springs Village, AR. We hope to see you at the course this weekend for what should be the 3rd and 4th courses this year we would call in tour condition. And remember, "If You Don't Tee It Up You Can't Win"!
