Belknap (-2.9) wins 27-hole Iron Man Challenge and $3150

Congratulations to William Belknap of Lindsay, OK, winner of the 2011 Iron Man Challenge at WinStar World Casinos Golf Course on the Red River. William, a 5 handicap and FairWay Tour member since March 9, 2002, earned $3150 from the record field of 56 players on Sunday, which equaled 10X his entry fee from our MOST GENEROUS pay matrix. The 14th place finisher, Troy Mangone, earned $315 or 100% payback of the entry fee, which included all course costs. The scoring was unbelievably close as 21 players, more than a third of the field, shot between 110.1 and 112.1 on the par 108 layout and 5 players (8.9%) managed to beat their handicap. Come join us in the next 2 weeks as we will be playing sorta out in the boonies in Oklahoma and Texas. Sugar Creek Canyon is a fun course about 30 minutes west of OKC and we will be there Sunday, June 26th. The following weekend the tour plays Sugartree GC in Lipan, TX on Saturday, July 2nd. This course has received multiple awards for being one of the best conditioned courses in the state. We hope to see you at our next event because "IF YOU DON'T TEE IT UP YOU CAN'T WIN!"
