Brown eagles same par 4 twice to win Dornick Hills Invitational with a net score of -0.5

Chris Brown added 2.5 strokes over 36 holes to his gross score of 139 at the par 142 Dornick Hills CC to edge out gamer Troy Mangone by 2 tenths of a stroke and win the Dornick Hills Invitational along with $6650. The field got hammered with severe thunderstorms late Saturday, which forced a few groups to finish their round on Sunday. The storm caused considerable damage to the front nine which closed on Sunday, forcing the field to play the back nine twice. The 14th hole, a 273 yd reachable par 4, was eagled by Brown both times Sunday, giving him the narrow victory. This is Brown's second consecutive victory, winning the Adams Tour Event at Belmar GC in Norman, OK with a score of -14 a couple weeks ago. The tour wishes Chris good luck as he goes to PGA Tour Q-School next week...great job Chris!
