Super Major at "Tin Cup" site - Kingwood CC this weekend; Mother Nature too much for Iron Man

Mother Nature has been wreaking havoc on Oklahoma all spring and did the same on Friday and Saturday at WinStar. Downpours on Friday night drenched an already soaked golf course to make it cart paths only and lift, clean and place thru the green. This obviously contributed to the low scoring for this event. 66 players teed it up Saturday and only 2 players broke 70 but there was a host of players between 70 and 73. Once the rain returned Saturday afternoon, it was simply too much for the course to handle and the event was reduced to 18 holes. Nevertheless, there was still $26,160 paid out for this event as Brad Cochran pocketed $6075 as the winner! Congratulations Brad! The FairWay Tour is going to Kingwood CC in N. Houston this weekend for Super Major #4. This private club's Forest Course is ranked top 50 in the state and was the site of "Tin Cup" filming as well as other big events. Sign up by Tuesday and get a free practice round Friday afternoon! This week, the tour will go over $300K in prize money this year and will be the first tour of its kind to top the $3 million mark in prize money paid!! We hope to see you at Texas Star on Thursday or Kingwood CC for the big bucks this weekend because "If you don't tee it up you can't WIN!"
