Meyers wins more than $4K at Oak Tree as Lotto Skin will be $1000+ for Timarron CC Thursday

Cameron Meyers took one on the chin in Vegas last weekend, getting beat by less than a stroke in the 2-Day event as well as the 1-Day net on Sunday despite shooting a final round 68...but this +1.2 handicap took defeat with class, knowing if he had only bogeyed the first 3 holes of the event instead of the first 4, he would have won! And Cameron showed he is a champion too by winning the very next event at beautiful and difficult Oak Tree CC to get his first victory on the FairWay Tour! All players know these events are played with a handicap, yet some just don't get it. This obviously is not the case with Cameron! Congratulations Cameron on one of the best performances of the year on our tour, considering the difficulty of Oak Tree on Saturday! Talk about golf courses: • Schedule the remainder of the year is full of nothing but the best private clubs in your area… • Timarron CC in Southlake, TX on Thursday afternoon for a green fee rate of $55 (lotto skin worth $1K+) • 1-Day Major #7 @ Northlake CC in Houston on Saturday at the same rate (this event is worth double bonus points) Talk about money: • FairWay Tour has 4 players who have won over $20K on tour so far this year • FairWay Tour has paid a handicap tour record $613,163 to our members this season with 6 events remaining, beating our own record from 2012 • Jeremy Copeland became the first $100,000 career winner on tour this year… • The $30 skins entry for our next event could get you more than $1000 if you birdie the right hole! Talk about loyalty: • $25,000 in bonus cash will be paid to our top 20 points winners at the Tour Championship December 7-8…. • Returning members who played more than 15 rounds will have their lowest score dropped upon membership renewal to begin 2014! • Returning members who recorded more than 30 rounds will have their lowest 2 scores dropped upon membership renewal to begin 2014! • Returning members who recorded more than 40 rounds will have their lowest 3 scores dropped upon membership renewal to begin 2014! We hope to see you at the course because… "If You Don't Tee It Up You Can't Win!" (75.08 is avg net score needed to cash check last 5 events)
