Haja Rabe wins $3200 at Woodforest and Young collects $2226 skin

It's all about Cash and Competition on the FairWay Tour as almost $10,000 was paid to 8 players Saturday at Woodforest GC, ranked #1 course in Texas by the Dallas Morning News! Congratulations to Mike Shields and Haja Rabe, winners of last week's events at The Old American and Woodforest. Shields picked up his first FairWay Tour win at The Old American in The Colony Thursday as bad weather continually threatened this event, which finally concluded after 2 rain delays. Haja Rabe and Andrew Young were the big winners on Saturday at Woodforest in Houston, site of Champion's Tour qualifying and boasting the quickest greens we have played this year. Rabe collected $3200 for his net score of -3.1 and Young collected $2226 for his lotto skin birdie on #12! If you live in N. Texas or Oklahoma it really is worth the drive to Houston to play some incredible golf courses under ideal conditions...25-40mph winds have been the norm up here while Houston offers a different golfing experience! Come join us for this weekend's events (SATURDAY IN DALLAS AND SUNDAY IN OKC), where both tourneys feature golf courses designed by the famous Perry Maxwell. The Golf Club of Dallas hosted many PGA Tour events in the 50s and 60s and Kickingbird is the best public course in the OKC Metro. We hope to see you there because "IF YOU DON'T TEE IT UP YOU CAN'T WIN!"
