Net score of +1.6 wins $7K @ Oak Tree as 6 players have chance to win on 36th hole!

Talk about competition? The FairWay Tour provided that in a great way Sunday afternoon at stellar Oak Tree CC as 6 (almost 20% of the field!) players had a chance to WIN the event on the final hole! The 6th place finisher was actually in command of this event, standing in the middle of the 18th fairway with a 136 yd wedge shot and needing a par to win. But he pulled his approach shot and wound up with a double bogey. At the end of the day, Dan Raiford had the lowest total...141.6 on the par 140 Pete Dye gem. 3 of the last 4 Super Majors have now been won with a net score of even par or higher. Congratulations Dan on your first big win as a professional golfer! The FairWay Tour is committed to providing the very best quality when it comes to golf courses and competition. Super Major #6 was a prime example! Our next big event will be Super Major #7 at another Pete Dye classic in Stonebridge Dye Course August 16-17, where approximately $10,000 in BONUS CASH will be paid in addition to the prize fund! Last year, $41,115 was paid at this event with $10K going to the winner. New players must have 3 rounds in the FairWay Tour system to be eligible for this event. We hope to see you this week at Trophy Club CC on Thursday or Woodhaven CC on Saturday because..."IF YOU DON'T TEE IT UP YOU CAN'T WIN!"
