Meyers rides hot putter to win Lincoln West and tie for first at Thorntree

Cameron Meyers purchased a new putter last week and used it to gash the field - and his handicap - as he fired an 8 under 63 on Saturday and followed that up with a 2 under 70 on Sunday to get a win and tie for first at the 2 events held last weekend. The tour's leading money winner the past 2 years carries a +2.3 handicap and is seemingly improving with the regular tourney competition he gets on the FairWay Tour. Cameron wants to play the PGA Tour one day and that is a very real possibility if he can become more consistent. A net score of 77 was good enough to cash a check at Thorntree, where 50 players were unable to break their handicap! We hope to see you at Cypress Lakes GC in Houston next Saturday because..."If you don't tee it up you can't win!"
