Spring Arrives! Beautiful weather in store for Thorntree CC Thursday and Lincoln West Saturday!

Finally! Spring arrives this week to replace a wet, cold and windy winter in Texas and Oklahoma. The FairWay Golf Tour has been running tournaments since November of 2000 with January thru Mid-March 2018 the worst early season weather in memory! Here’s to a warm and quiet Spring! It looks like we will at least get off to a good start this week as the weather forecast for Thursday at Thorntree CC in DeSoto, TX calls for mostly sunny skies and 79 degrees. More of the same Saturday in OKC as the high calls for 82 and mostly sunny skies…perfect golf weather! Congratulations to last week’s winners as Curtis Crabtree continued his fine play with an even par 72 at Sky Creek Ranch. The net score of 69.1 was good enough to edge out 2nd place finisher Parker Wine and take home $1480 from the 25 player field. Saturday at Rose Creek GC in OKC, Ryan Cummings fired a 76 for a net score of 70.3 to edge out Chase Lindsey and take home $1280 from the 21 player field! We hope you are able to take advantage of the beautiful weather this week and join us for some high quality golf competition! The FairWay Tour has paid nearly $6 million to its members since November 2000, including $75,000 already in 2018 despite the terrible weather. We hope to see you at the course this week because….”If you don’t tee it up you can’t win!”
