Major #3 Ends in Tie for the First Time Since 2001


For the first time since the FairWay Tour began in 2001, there was a tie for first in a 2-Day Major Event. Congratulations to Dustin Mahoney of Elk City, Ok and Eric Kelley of Dallas, who were the only players to break their handicap on a perfect weekend for golf at Waterchase Golf Club in Arlington, TX. Their net scores of 143.4 (par 144) were almost 5 strokes better than 3rd place finisher Dustin Stephenson at 148.2 and exactly five strokes better than Michael Gatz and his fourth place finish at 148.4.
