Cagigal Fires Brilliant 67 on Sunday to take Major #5 at Stonebridge CC

Congratulations to Henry Cagigal of Ft. Worth, TX, this year's Major #5 winner at Stonebridge CC with a net score of -4.2. The 48 yr. old improved by 10 shots from Saturday with a 5 under par 67 as he ran away and hid from the field with a whopping 6.1 stroke victory, the largest margin of victory ever in a FairWay Tour Major. Bryan Berger and Michael Juneau, paired together in the final group, thought they were battling for first place on the 18th green when Mr. Juneau missed a 4 ft. putt to give Berger 2nd place and $2000 with a net score of +1.9. But the stellar round from Cagigal, who had been away from golf after suffering severe burns in an accident with hot glue, appeared to regain his old form as his score was easily enough to win this event at the very difficult Pete Dye designed course at Stonebridge Ranch.
