Beall's 70.9 Wins $2000; Major #3 June 4-5 Will Be Held @ 2 Courses...The Tribute Saturday and The Old American Sunday

Congratulations to Jonathan Beall, who fired a 70.9 to win his first event on the FairWay Tour and a check for $2000. His score edged out a pair of 71.1's and a 71.8 to take home the large cash prize from the field of 45 players at Tierra Verde Golf club in Arlington, TX. Jonathan tried giving the win to someone else when he signed for a score that was one stroke higher than he actually shot. He was lucky because less than a stroke separated 2nd from 6th...this time it did not cost him a penny but next time you can be sure he checks his card thoroughly! It is a great time to be playing the tour as the turnout has been nice with great payouts at every event and winning scores within everyone's reach. We are now getting into the heart of the season and we are pleased to announce even higher quality courses are on the horizon starting this weekend! Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club is the home of the University of Oklahoma Golf Team and site of the USGA's Public Links Championship. The USGA holds its events at only the best courses. SIGN UP BY MONDAY, MAY 23rd at 9PM to get max RED RIVER POINTS still projected to pay $10,000 in bonus cash at the end of the year! After that, Major #3 (double Red River points!) will be held June 4th and 5th at The Tribute on Saturday, site of several Senior PGA Tour events and a FairWay Tour favorite, and The Old American CC right across the street on Sunday, a great challenge voted to "Top 100 Best New Courses" by GOLF Magazine...Green fee rates for FairWay Tour players at these courses is $75 per day, which is half the normal rate! Then it stays awesome as the tour plays Stonebridge Ranch CC (hills) 6/12, site of Byron Nelson Qualifying and Stonebridge CC (dye) on July 23-24, site of the US Open Qualifier this year among other large events and site of our tour's first Super Major of 2011 on that date. The calendar really heats up in August as we will play TPC @ Las Colinas, site of Byron Nelson Classic, on August 6th and will travel to Las Vegas August 20th for Super Major #2...stay tuned for all the details on this event, which will be finalized this week. We appreciate your support and hope to see you at the course again real soon because "IF YOU DON'T TEE IT UP YOU CAN'T WIN!
