Ogle only player in red as he wins 2nd Consecutive Super Major @ Dornick Hills

Jackson Ogle had several things going for him heading into Super Major #9 @ Dornick Hills CC. The 20 yr old (let's start there!) from Edmond, OK had just cashed his largest check as a pro 2 weeks earlier at Waterchase GC, giving him confidence. Secondly, his past experience at Dornick as a high school and college player gave him course knowledge, which was needed to be successful at Perry Maxwell's very tricky original design. And last but not least, a hot putter he used to fire a back nine 33 on Sunday to win the event by 2 strokes over former Baylor golfer Colton Williams, who got an unfortunate bounce on the par 3 17th that found the water hazard as Ogle was birdieing the 18th. Jackson has now made nearly $20,000 in the last 3 weeks playing in 2 events with a field of 45 players and 29 players respectively. Quick math tells me that's pretty good...and even better odds with fields that averaged 37 players!! Would -2.6 have won if the field were 60 players?? Ogle and Williams also tied for low gross scores in the event, firing matching 137's on the par 140 layout. There is not much more a player can ask for if they want to compete for large cash payouts with a fair opportunity to win on some of the very finest courses in the region! Come join us next week at Hackberry Creek CC in Las Colinas or Walden on Lake Conroe CC in Conroe because "If you don't tee it up you can't win!"
