Tour News

3 first time winners at 4 events last week as this weekend features Champions Circle Saturday and Oak Tree Sunday!

The Fairway Tour hosted four events last week as D/FW native Jordan Spieth was running away with the Masters! Thursday at Old American, tour vet Herb Joiner got his first win of the season with a net score of -1. Saturday in Houston, Kaleb Robinson got his first ever FairWay Tour win with a net score of -2. More of the same Sunday as there were two more first time winners at The Tribute GC in Dallas (Jeremy Freedman) and The Rawls Course (Mark Mueller), home of Texas Tech golf, in Lubbock. Congrats to all these players! Next Saturday features an early tee time (8AM start) at Champions Circle GC, right across the street from Texas Motor Speedway just north of Ft Worth, followed by Sunday afternoon at my home course, beautiful and challenging Oak Tree CC! The pay matrix will be double for the 1-Day Mini Major at Oak Tree! We hope to see you at one or both of these events because..."if you don't tee it up you can't win!"
